VCPoGo 2023 End Of Year Updates
Good Day All, Merry Christmas!
We have recently went through a big infrastructure upgrade to the scanners and are now able to support new features and increased location scans!
To start, we'll get the Grinch part out of the way. Unfortunately the decision has been made that prices for Donor access will be increasing. It has been set low for a while now because the scanning wasn't as good as it used to be, but over the past year it has been getting better and the recent improvements are fantastic. We are back to scanning every mon for IV's which means you'll be able to load up on 💯's and those premium PVP mons in no time!
Subscriptions are now being handled through Patreon at https://patreon.com/vcpogo. There are 3 different tiers, you can go there to see them and sign up. Be sure to link Patreon to your Discord account while you are there.
Nobody will be forced to change but over time benefits to the existing subscription will be cut down to encourage you to move over. I apologize for this but operation costs have skyrocketed and I am trying to do everything I can to give the community the best experience and access as possible.
-On January 31 - Map & Alert bot access will be removed from current subscription levels. You will maintain access matching the Trainer Donor Patreon level.
If you do decide to switch over to the new Patreon subscription, please be sure to cancel your current Paypal subscription or you can reach out to me to take care of that for you. Again, I apologize for this but appreciate your understanding. I promise the additional costs will be worth it with the new upgrades we have!
Anybody who donated a device in the past will continue to maintain their lifetime access matching the Elite Donor Patreon level. This gives you access to everything you have now including the new features and improvements. Your support during a time of need will always be appreciated. Thank you so much.
Ok now we can get to the Merry part! What are the new upgrades and features!?
-Spawnpoint scanning has at a minimum doubled in each city
-Along with that, we are now scanning every mon for IV's!
-💯's and 0's have more than doubled as a result!
-Individual city 💯 channels (You can subscribe to these in the Channels & Roles section of the VCPoGo Discord)
-Now scanning both Quests for every Pokestop (AR & non-AR)*, Double the Quests!
-Routes are now shown on the map*
-Showcases are now shown on the map*
-Added scans for Ojai
*To take advantage of these new features, we are having to retire the old map and highly encourage people to use the new map at https://map.vcpogo.com when you sign up as Elite Donor or above. The load times are much quicker and the support for all of the above works great! You can even manage your alerts directly within the map itself using the Alert Manager! The old map will be retired on the January 31 date as well.
As a thank you to the community, we will be offering access to the new map for everyone through the end of the year. I encourage you to try it out
